About our church
What is Emmanuel Iranian Ministries?
Emmanuel Iranian Ministries (کلیساهای ایرانیان عمانوئیل) is a family of Persian-speaking Christian congregations across Canada. Our name comes from “Emmanuel,” which means “God with us.” We are committed to Bible teaching, joyful worship and practical love for children, youth and adults — many churches, one family.
Where are your churches?
We meet in Toronto at Lansing United Church (49 Bogert Ave, North York), in Newmarket at Trinity United Church (461 Park Ave) and in Richmond Hill at Richmond Hill United Church (10201 Yonge St). Our Montreal branch meets online via Zoom.
Are your services in Farsi?
Yes. Our worship, sermons and Bible studies are in Persian (Farsi). Everyone is welcome — if you have questions in English, we’re happy to help.
Is Emmanuel Iranian Ministries a registered charity?
Yes. Emmanuel Iranian Ministries is a registered charity, and receipts are issued for eligible donations.
Services and gatherings
When are your worship services?
All services start at 6:30 PM: Sundays in Toronto, Tuesdays online for Montreal, Wednesdays in Newmarket and Fridays in Richmond Hill.
What other gatherings do you have during the week?
Prayer night is every Monday at 6:30 PM, and Bible study is every Thursday at 9:00 PM online via Zoom. There’s something happening every day of the week — except the Sabbath, the day God set apart for rest.
Can I join online?
Yes. Our Montreal branch worships online via Zoom on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM, and our Thursday Bible study is also on Zoom. Contact us and we’ll send you the link.
Do I need to register before visiting?
No — everyone is welcome at our services. If it’s your first visit and you’d like someone to welcome you, feel free to contact us beforehand.
Getting involved
I’m new to Canada or new to faith. Is there a place for me?
Absolutely. Many in our community are newcomers to Canada or new believers, and we walk alongside them as they begin a new life — offering spiritual care, friendship and a welcoming home in their own language.
Do you offer baptism?
Yes. We hold baptism ceremonies and membership classes. Contact us to learn more.
What ministries and programs do you have?
Men’s, Ladies’, Couples’ and Teen ministries; Sunday worship services, adult Bible studies and prayer meetings; outreach and community service, including food bank support and visitation; charity and fundraising drives; cultural and social events celebrating Persian holidays and fellowship meals; and educational workshops on financial literacy, parenting and life skills.
How can I volunteer?
Our volunteer teams serve in ushering, hospitality and greeting. If you’d like to serve, contact us.

How can I give?
You can donate online through CanadaHelps with any major credit or debit card, send an Interac e-Transfer to info@eiministries.ca, or give in person during our services.
